- Reacquaint yourself with the latest techniques and resources
for job search;
- Develop your networking script and build your networking list;
- Prepare your resume, especially formatted and written to
detract from gaps in employment and to strengthen your
experience, highlight skills, etc.;
- Practice interviewing with particular focus on how to handle
the employers' most likely question, "What have you been
doing for the past months/years?"
- Practice salary negotiation, factoring in current market rate
for jobs, rather than your last job's salary.
