Resume Writing

The Combination resume format presents the best aspects of both the Chronological and the Functional resume, combined into one resume. Your skills, knowledge and expertise are listed first by functional area, followed by a reverse chronological listing of your work experience.

The Combination resume has the added advantage of presenting your marketable skills first, yet still providing employers and HR professionals with the reverse chronological listing of your work history, which they usually want to see. A combination resume can be easily customized to fit specific job openings, too.
